Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I’ve always known I wanted to be a helper. My passion for serving others led me to Tennessee State University, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Psychology. Later, I completed my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University, solidifying my dedication to helping individuals, families, and communities thrive.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats—Social Worker, Case Manager, Advocate, Counselor, and Therapist. I’ve worked in various settings, including group homes, child protective services, foster care, healthcare, and psychiatric hospitals. I’m well-versed in navigating systems like Medicare and Medicaid, and I’ve experienced both corporate and non-profit sectors firsthand. These roles have allowed me to help hundreds of clients and families, a number I’m determined to grow into the millions.
Over time, I've noticed a troubling disconnect within the systems meant to provide care. Compassion and dignity often fell short, which inspired me to create something better. With that purpose in mind, I founded 1st Elite Community to be the antidote to the world’s missing care—a place where people receive not only professional support but also the compassion and respect, they deserve while fostering wholeness to get to a space of peace and wellness. ELITE PROMISES was founded to help as a sponsor to support the community with funding vital services and resources to help move programing and the community forward.
At 1st Elite Community, we are committed to fostering an environment where human dignity is prioritized, and everyone is welcomed, supported, and valued. We aim to uplift, heal, and empower individuals in need, and I’m proud to lead this initiative, fueled by faith and a passion for making a difference.
On a personal note, I’m married to a wonderful husband, have a bright, athletic son (I always remind him of his "huge muscles"), and two beloved dogs. I enjoy all things snacks, vibrant colors, and great shades of lipstick.
